Furnace Oil (F.O), Light Diesel Oil (LDO), Superior Kerosene Oil (SKO) – Industrial , Low Sulphur Heavy Stock(LSHS) and Petcoke are the Industrial fuels largely used as a fuel to generate electricity and heat in different sectors. Being market-linked, Furnace Oil (FO), Light Diesel Oil (LDO) Superior Kerosene Oil (SKO), Low Sulphur Heavy Stock(LSHS) prices are revised up by Oil marketing companies (OMCs) on a fortnightly basis in India.
As We predicted, In India, Industrial fuel oil prices revised up on 1/1/2022 , for the first half of Jan across all the oil marketing companies. The Furnace oil (F.O) basic prices are revised up by Rs.470 to Rs.41909.82 or 1.13% per KL, Light Diesel Oil (LDO) prices are revised up by Rs.1370 or 2.69% to Rs.52210/- per KL from Visakha depo, Superior Kerosene Oil (SKO-Industrial) prices are up by Rs.1673 per KL to Rs.74880 per KL from Visakha depo, Low sulphur heavy stock (LSHS) prices in Mumbai escalated by Rs.490 to Rs.46050/- per MT while Petcoke prices decreased by Rs.16300 wef 1/1/2022.
