INDUSTRIAL FUEL PRICES ON 01/07/2023 IN INDIA BY SRINIVAS CHOWDARY SUNKARA
Furnace Oil (F.O), Light Diesel Oil (LDO), Superior Kerosene Oil (SKO) – Industrial, Low Sulphur Heavy Stock(LSHS), and Petcoke are the Industrial fuels largely used as a fuel to generate electricity and heat in different sectors. Being market-linked, Furnace Oil (FO) and Light Diesel Oil (LDO) prices were revised up while Petcoke and LSHS prices were revised down by Oil marketing companies (OMCs) on a fortnightly basis in India.
As We predicted, In India, Industrial fuel oil prices changed on 1/7/2023, for the first half of July across all the oil marketing companies. The Furnace oil (F.O) basic prices are revised up by Rs.460 to Rs.44611.54 or 1.04% per KL, Light Diesel Oil (LDO) prices are revised up by Rs.1320 or 2.24% to Rs.60220/- per KL from Visakha depo, Low sulphur heavy stock (LSHS) prices in Mumbai decreased by Rs.10 to Rs.48250/- per MT while Petcoke prices decreased by Rs.12000 wef 1/7/2023.
