Bitumen prices in India up on 16th October 2024.
On October 16, 2024, bitumen prices across all VG grades in India revised up. All government oil marketing companies like BPCL, IOCL, HPCL, and MRPL increased bitumen prices . At the Chennai depot, IOCL published new prices for both bulk and packed bitumen for the second half of Oct, 2024.
VG 10 bulk bitumen price was increased by Rs. 2240 per metric ton (MT) from Rs. 37,512 to Rs. 39,752 per MT. VG 30 bulk bitumen price was up by Rs. 2240 from Rs. 38,312 to Rs. 40,552 per MT. Bitumen bulk VG 40 price hiked Rs. 2560, increasing from Rs. 40,092 to Rs. 42,652 per MT from IOCL, Chennai depot.
VG 10 packed bitumen price shot up from Rs. 48,312 to Rs. 50,552 per MT. VG 30 packed bitumen price surged by Rs. 2240, from Rs. 49,112 to Rs. 51,352 per MT from Iocl, Chennai depot.
Inflated bitumen price would be the result of spiking crude and Bunker markets.
