Crude Oil Price Today as on 19th May, 2025.

Crude oil price – Brent futures for July delivery moving at $64.74 a barrel on London based ICE Futures Europe exchange while WTI oil July futures are trading at $61.99 on Monday morning during Asian hours. Both the benchmarks logged in second weekly gains on Friday. Brent premium over WTI unchanged at $2.92 a barrel during the session.

Crude oil benchmark price index curves moving flat during Asian hours. The indices sketched bullish picture last week on Optimism over positive sentiment buoyed up by U.S-China trade deal. Over supply fears continued to prevail. Fundamentals remain unchanged. Turning to technicals, Latest Market positioning data revealed Investor’s increased interest on Brent over WTI. As per data, WTI is expected to trend sideways to mildly bearish. RSI indicator is neutral showing lack of momentum, MACD indicated weakening upward momentum for U.S crude futures. On the other hand, Brent trended bullish in the short term, supported both price action and momentum indicators. RSI indicator is near overbought zone but still supportive of further gains. MACD indicator signaled bullish crossover with positive momentum. Need to watch fundamental confirmations to validate the trend.
