Furnace Oil (F.O), Light Diesel Oil (LDO), Superior Kerosene Oil (SKO) – Industrial , Low Sulphur Heavy Stock(LSHS) and Petcoke – Industrial are the fuels largely used as a fuel to generate electricity and heat in different sectors. Being market-linked, Furnace Oil (FO), Light Diesel Oil (LDO) Superior Kerosene Oil (SKO), Low Sulphur Heavy Stock(LSHS) and Petcoke prices are changed by Oil marketing companies (OMCs) on a fortnightly basis in India.
As We predicted, In India, Industrial fuel oil prices are increased on 1/10/2021 , for the first half of Oct across all the oil marketing companies. The Furnace oil (F.O) basic prices are hiked by Rs.2530 to Rs.46479.82 or 5.75% per KL, Light Diesel Oil (LDO) prices are revised up by Rs.2480 or 5.06% to Rs.51470/- per KL from Visakha depo, Superior Kerosene Oil (SKO-Industrial) prices are up by Rs.2710 per KL to Rs.82880 per KL from Visakha depo, Low sulphur heavy stock (LSHS) prices are pushed up by Rs.2640 to Rs.51099/- per MT and Petcoke prices are up at Rs.15080 wef 1/10/2021.
