Furnace Oil (F.O), Light Diesel Oil (LDO), Superior Kerosene Oil (SKO) – Industrial , Low Sulphur Heavy Stock(LSHS) and Petcoke are the Industrial fuels largely used as a fuel to generate electricity and heat in different sectors. Being market-linked, Furnace Oil (FO), Light Diesel Oil (LDO), Superior Kerosene Oil (SKO), Petcoke and Low Sulphur Heavy Stock(LSHS) prices changed mix by Oil marketing companies (OMCs) on a fortnightly basis in India.
As We predicted, In India, Industrial fuel oil prices changed mix on 1/12/2022 , for the first half of December across all the oil marketing companies. The Furnace oil (F.O) basic prices are revised down by Rs.2230 to Rs.42541.54 or 4.98% per KL, Light Diesel Oil (LDO) prices are revised down by Rs.5910 or 7.29% to Rs.75130/- per KL from Visakha depo, Superior Kerosene Oil (SKO-Industrial) prices are up by Rs.4821.2 per KL to Rs.97610 per KL from VJA depo, Low sulphur heavy stock (LSHS) prices in Mumbai decreased by Rs.1820 to Rs.46550/- per MT while Petcoke prices decreased by Rs.17750 wef 1/12/2022.
