Furnace Oil (F.O), Light Diesel Oil (LDO), Superior Kerosene Oil (SKO) – Industrial , Low Sulphur Heavy Stock(LSHS) and Petcoke are the Industrial fuels largely used as a fuel to generate electricity and heat in different sectors. Being market-linked, Furnace Oil (FO), Light Diesel Oil (LDO) Superior Kerosene Oil (SKO), Low Sulphur Heavy Stock(LSHS) and Petcoke prices are changed by Oil marketing companies (OMCs) on a fortnightly basis in India.
As We predicted, In India, Industrial fuel oil prices are increased as on 16/10/2021 for the second half of Oct across all the oil marketing companies. Furnace oil (F.O) basic prices are hiked by Rs.1460 to Rs.47939.82 or 3.14% per KL, Light Diesel Oil (LDO) prices are revised up by Rs.3820 or 7.42% to Rs.55290/- per KL from Visakha depo. Superior Kerosene Oil (SKO-Industrial) prices are up by Rs.4620 per KL to Rs.87500 per KL from Visakha depo while Low sulphur heavy stock (LSHS) prices in Mumbai are increased by Rs.1510 to Rs.52510/- per MT and Petcoke prices are up to Rs.18100 wef 16/10/2021.
