Furnace Oil (F.O), Light Diesel Oil (LDO), Superior Kerosene Oil (SKO) – Industrial , Low Sulphur Heavy Stock(LSHS) and Petcoke are the Industrial fuels largely used as a fuel to generate electricity and heat in different sectors. Being market-linked, Furnace Oil (FO), Light Diesel Oil (LDO) Superior Kerosene Oil (SKO), Petcoke and Low Sulphur Heavy Stock(LSHS) prices decreased by Oil marketing companies (OMCs) on a fortnightly basis in India.

As We predicted, In India, Industrial fuel oil prices decreased on 1/10/2022 , for the first half of October across all the oil marketing companies. The  Furnace oil (F.O) basic prices are revised down by Rs.898.28 to Rs.44571.54 or 1.97% per KL, Light Diesel Oil (LDO) prices are revised down by Rs.7170 or 9.15% to Rs.71160/- per KL from Visakha depo, Superior Kerosene Oil (SKO-Industrial) prices are down by Rs.10283 per KL to Rs.92788.79 per KL from VJA depo, Low sulphur heavy stock (LSHS) prices in Mumbai decreased by Rs.1450 to Rs.48920/- per MT wef 1/10/2022.
