Furnace Oil (F.O), Light Diesel Oil (LDO), Superior Kerosene Oil (SKO) – Industrial , Low Sulphur Heavy Stock(LSHS) and Petcoke are the Industrial fuels largely used as a fuel to generate electricity and heat in different sectors. Being market-linked, Furnace Oil (FO), Light Diesel Oil (LDO) Superior Kerosene Oil (SKO), Low Sulphur Heavy Stock(LSHS) prices are revised up by Oil marketing companies (OMCs) on a fortnightly basis in India.

As We predicted, In India, Industrial fuel oil prices revised up on 1/4/2022 , for the first half of Apr across all the oil marketing companies. The  Furnace oil (F.O) basic prices are revised up by Rs.4030 to Rs.60859.82 or 7.09% per KL, Light Diesel Oil (LDO) prices are revised up by Rs.820 or 1.06% to Rs.78020/- per KL from Visakha depo wef 1/4/2022.
