Furnace Oil (F.O), Light Diesel Oil (LDO), Superior Kerosene Oil (SKO) – Industrial , Low Sulphur Heavy Stock(LSHS) and Petcoke are the Industrial fuels largely used as a fuel to generate electricity and heat in different sectors. Being market-linked, Furnace Oil (FO), Light Diesel Oil (LDO) Superior Kerosene Oil (SKO), Low Sulphur Heavy Stock(LSHS), Petcoke prices are changed mix by Oil marketing companies (OMCs) on a fortnightly basis in India.

As We predicted, In India, Industrial fuel oil prices changed mix on 16/5/2022 , for the second half of May across all the oil marketing companies. The  Furnace oil (F.O) basic prices are revised down by Rs.810 to Rs.68819.82 or 1.16% per KL, Light Diesel Oil (LDO) prices are revised up by Rs.1610 or 1.88% to Rs.87420/- per KL from Visakha depo, Low sulphur heavy stock (LSHS) prices in Mumbai dropped by Rs.920 to Rs.74020/- per MT while Petcoke prices increased by Rs.22260 wef 16/5/2022.
