Furnace oil (FO), also known as fuel oil or bunker fuel, is a type of fuel often used in industrial boilers for heating and powering various processes. Light Diesel Oil (LDO), also known as Industrial Diesel oil or Light Diesel oil, Commonly used in industrial boilers and ovens. Petroleum Coke (Petcoke) is a carbonaceous solid residue generated during the refining of crude oil. LSHS stands for “Low Sulphur Heavy Stock.” It is a type of residual fuel oil used in various industrial applications, primarily as a fuel source. Superior Kerosene Oil (SKO) is a type of mineral oil frequently used as a fuel source for various purposes.
FO LDO LSHS PETCOKE PRICES IN INDIA
FO, LDO, Petcoke, LSHS, and SKO prices are revised on a fortnightly basis in India by the Oil Marketing Companies. FO and LDO prices increased while Petcoke prices are down for the second half of July 2023 in India.
In Visakhapatnam, FO prices revised up by Rs.47201.54 with a difference of Rs.2590 or 5.8% from the previous revision. LDO prices increased by Rs.61990 with a variation of Rs.1770 or 2.94% from the previous revision in Visakhapatnam whereas Petcoke prices decreased by Rs.11600 with a difference of Rs.400 or 3.33% from the previous revision in Koyali. LSHS prices escalated by Rs.51490 with a difference of Rs.3240 or 6.71% from the previous revision in Mumbai on 16/07/2023.
