Furnace oil (FO), also known as fuel oil or bunker fuel, is a type of fuel often used in industrial boilers for heating and powering various processes. Light Diesel Oil (LDO), also known as Industrial Diesel oil or Light Diesel oil, Commonly used in industrial boilers and ovens. Petroleum Coke (Petcoke) is a carbonaceous solid residue generated during the refining of crude oil. LSHS stands for “Low Sulphur Heavy Stock.” It is a type of residual fuel oil used in various industrial applications, primarily as a fuel source. Superior Kerosene Oil (SKO) is a type of mineral oil frequently used as a fuel source for various purposes.
FO LDO PETCOKE PRICES IN INDIA
FO, LDO, Petcoke, LSHS, and SKO prices are revised on a fortnightly basis in India by the Oil Marketing Companies. FO and LDO prices increased while Petcoke prices remained unchanged for the first half of August 2023 in India.
In Visakhapatnam, FO prices revised up by Rs.49520 with a difference of Rs.2318.46 or 4.91% from the previous revision. LDO prices increased by Rs.65960 with a variation of Rs.3970 or 6.40% from the previous revision in Visakhapatnam whereas Petcoke prices kept unchanged by Rs.11600 with a difference of Rs.0 or 0% from the previous revision in Koyali on 01/08/2023.
