Furnace Oil (F.O), Light Diesel Oil (LDO), Superior Kerosene Oil (SKO) – Industrial , Low Sulphur Heavy Stock(LSHS) and Petcoke are the Industrial fuels largely used as a fuel to generate electricity and heat in different sectors. Being market-linked, Furnace Oil (FO), Light Diesel Oil (LDO),  Superior Kerosene Oil (SKO) and Low Sulphur Heavy Stock(LSHS) prices changed while Petcoke prices remained unchanged by Oil marketing companies (OMCs) on a fortnightly basis in India.

As We predicted, In India, Industrial fuel oil prices changed on 1/3/2023 , for the first half of March across all the oil marketing companies. The  Furnace oil (F.O) basic prices are revised up by Rs.3360 to Rs.46771.54 or 7.73% per KL, Light Diesel Oil (LDO) prices are revised down by Rs.1980 or 2.83% to Rs.67960/- per KL from Visakha depo, Low sulphur heavy stock (LSHS) prices in Mumbai increased by Rs.3490 to Rs.50160/- per MT while Petcoke prices remained unchanged by Rs.17150 wef 1/3/2023.
