Furnace Oil (F.O), Light Diesel Oil (LDO), Superior Kerosene Oil (SKO) – Industrial, Low Sulphur Heavy Stock(LSHS), and Petcoke are the Industrial fuels largely used as a fuel to generate electricity and heat in different sectors. Being market-linked, Furnace Oil (FO) and Light Diesel Oil (LDO) prices were revised down by Oil marketing companies (OMCs) on a fortnightly basis in India.

As We predicted, In India, Industrial fuel oil prices changed on 16/5/2023, for the second half of May across all the oil marketing companies. The  Furnace oil (F.O) basic prices are revised down by Rs.2700 to Rs.45161.54 or 5.64% per KL, Light Diesel Oil (LDO) prices are revised down by Rs.4680 or 7.50% to Rs.57740/- per KL from Visakha depo wef 16/5/2023.
