Fuel oil prices edged up across all grades at Singapore trading window today. VLSFO prices went up $3 to $642/mt. LSMGO prices went up $3 to $786/mt. HSFO price up $6 to $486/mt in Singapore today.
Fuel oil benchmarks in Asia closed steady last week. High onshore stocks Limited upside momentum. Fuel oil demand saw lukewarm at Singapore hub. Singapore’s cash differentials for very low sulphur fuel oil closed at a premium of $1 to $2 per Mt. Refining cracks were at a premium between $12 to $13 per barrel. 380 cSt HSFO differentials to singapore quotes were at a discount of about $10 to $11 a barrel.
Fuel oil price markets apart, crude markets opened up today on supply tightness fears. FO prices may go up for the first half of April.
