Fuel Oil Price Today as on 7th, May, 2025.
Fuel oil markets moved flat on Wednesday . VLSFO (very low sulphur fuel oil ) spot premium dipped below $6 with prompt refining cracks posted losses due to rebound in crude prices. HSFO (High Sulphur Fuel oil) spot differentials inched up for the second session in a row amid brisk activity though they are still holding in discounted territory. A flurry of trades existed for HSFO during the window on Tuesday. Four trades emerged for 180 cSt HSFO grade. Prompt refining cracks posted losses for both VLSFO and HSFO due to rebound in crude prices yesterday.
Hi-5 Fuel oil spread is the premium of VLSFO over 380 cSt HSFO.
Turning to other markets, crude markets bounced back on significant short selling . FO prices in India are moderately increased while LDO prices are revised down in India for the first half of May, 2025.
