VLSFO (very low sulfur fuel oil) spot markets are getting multiple selling offers during this week. HSFO (High Sulphur Fuel oil) 380 cSt spot markets are largely stable with strong derivative markets.
Hi-5 Fuel oil spread is the premium of VLSFO over 380 cSt HSFO. Hi-five fuel oil spreads continue to narrow down to close below $90 per Mt.
Turning to other markets, crude markets closed the week in 2.5 pct loss. FO prices in India went down while LDO prices revised down as on 16th Dec, 2024.
