Fuel oil markets in Asia traded up on Thursday. Singapore Residual fuel oil inventories are hovering at 23.71 Mb which is about 3.73 Million Metric Tonnes in the week to June 11. The jump was about 5 pct up from the prevuous week as per data published.
VLSFO (very low sulphur fuel oil ) fuel oil was rangebound on Thursday. VLSFO cracks hovering above $10 a barrel.
Singapore HSFO (High Sulphur Fuel oil) spot premiums softened on Thursday amid tepid in recent trading sessions. Onshore inventories are piling up for a fourth stragiht week. HSFO inflex continued to dampen spot markets, With downstream bunker differentials for HSFO marine fuel holding in discounts to cargo quotes as per reports.
Hi-5 Fuel oil spread is the premium of VLSFO over 380 cSt HSFO.
Turning to other markets, Crude Benchmarks trading up with bullish momentum. FO prices predicted to changed moderately either side while LDO prices will be revised with a little changes in India for the send half of June, 2025.
