Fuel Oil Price Today as on 8th, May, 2025.
Fuel oil spot markets in Asia little changed from previous session since markets awaited for more tenders. VLSFO (very low sulphur fuel oil ) markets flipped into bearish zone despite of recent support and VLSFO cash differentials was pegged at $6.5 per Mt. HSFO (High Sulphur Fuel oil) markets slowed on low activity after a flurry of trades in the previous session, held at a discount near $2 a ton. Prompt refining cracks for HSFO closed at premiums near $1 a barrel while VLSFO margins were at premiums of about $11.5 a barrel.
Hi-5 Fuel oil spread is the premium of VLSFO over 380 cSt HSFO.
Turning to other markets, crude markets settled down yesterday after speculators signed off post profit taking . FO prices in India are moderately increased while LDO prices are revised down in India for the first half of May, 2025.
