In India, the national oil marketing companies have recently raised the prices of bitumen, both in bulk and packed forms, for the first half of February 2024. The prices of all VG graded bituminous products have been revised as per the latest publication by these companies.
The price of Bitumen VG-10 in bulk has increased by Rs.900 per metric ton, or 2.28%, and is now priced at Rs.40292/- per Mt. Similarly, the price of Bitumen VG-30 in bulk has been revised up by Rs.1200 per Mt, or 3%, to Rs.41092/- per Mt. Bitumen VG-40 in bulk is now priced at Rs.42802/- per Mt. In terms of packed bitumen, Bitumen VG-10 is being sold at Rs.47592/- per Mt, while the price for Bitumen VG-30 (packed) in Chennai is Rs.48392/- per Mt. These revisions in bitumen prices reflect the current market conditions and are subject to change.
