DIESEL PETROL PRICES TREND IN INDIA
In India, Diesel and petrol prices are changed daily in line with a rise and fall of global oil prices. Following the daily price revision of auto fuels in India, Diesel oil and petrol prices are changed up for the second day in a row. Petrol and diesel prices were remained unchanged for nearly 80 days by state run oil marketing companies. Petrol and diesel prices were last revised on March 16th prior to nationwide lockdown. During the lock down period, Multiple state governments increased VAT to compensate the revenue deficit. Petrol is being sold at Rs.75.22 and Diesel at Rs.69 a liter today in Hyderabad retail market. In Delhi, Petrol is priced at Rs.72.46 and diesel at Rs.70.46 per liter. In Kolkata, Petrol is now selling at Rs.74.46 and diesel at Rs.70.59 a liter. In Mumbai, Petrol and diesel are costing Rs.79.49 and Rs.69.37 respectively. Petrol pumps are charging Rs.76.60 and Rs.69.25 per liter respectively in Chennai.
BIODIESEL PRICE TRENDS
Biodiesel prices are bench marked with diesel prices in Indian retail market. The retail prices of bio diesel remain unchanged today and trended to follow the changes in diesel prices in India. Bio diesel B100 and B50 graded fuel prices are sold at competitive prices in Hyderabad retail market. The crude palm oil futures are trading high on Bursa Malaysia.
