Furnace Oil (F.O), Light Diesel Oil (LDO), Superior Kerosene Oil (SKO) – Industrial , Low Sulphur Heavy Stock(LSHS) and Petcoke are the Industrial fuels largely used as a fuel to generate electricity and heat in different sectors. Being market-linked, Furnace Oil (FO), Light Diesel Oil (LDO) Superior Kerosene Oil (SKO), Low Sulphur Heavy Stock(LSHS), Petcoke prices decreased by Oil marketing companies (OMCs) on a fortnightly basis in India.
As We predicted, In India, Industrial fuel oil prices decreased on 16/7/2022 , for the second half of July across all the oil marketing companies. The Furnace oil (F.O) basic prices are revised down by Rs.7520 to Rs.54199.82 or 12.18% per KL, Light Diesel Oil (LDO) prices are revised down by Rs.9730 or 10.18% to Rs.85840/- per KL from Visakha depo, Superior Kerosene Oil (SKO-Industrial) prices are down by Rs.10720 per KL to Rs.110406.74 per KL from VJA depo, Low sulphur heavy stock (LSHS) prices in Mumbai decreased by Rs.1118 to Rs.58510/- per MT while Petcoke prices decreased by Rs.20350 wef 16/7/2022.
