Furnace Oil (F.O), Light Diesel Oil (LDO), Superior Kerosene Oil (SKO) – Industrial, Low Sulphur Heavy Stock(LSHS), and Petcoke are the Industrial fuels largely used as a fuel to generate electricity and heat in different sectors. Being market-linked, Furnace Oil (FO) and Light Diesel Oil (LDO) prices were revised up while Petcoke prices were decreased by Oil marketing companies (OMCs) on a fortnightly basis in India.

As We predicted, In India, Industrial fuel oil prices changed on 1/6/2023, for the first half of June across all the oil marketing companies. The  Furnace oil (F.O) basic prices are revised up by Rs.300 to Rs.45461.54 or 0.66% per KL, Light Diesel Oil (LDO) prices are revised up by Rs.1200 or 2.08% to Rs.58940/- per KL from Visakha depo while Petcoke prices decreased by Rs.12900 wef 1/6/2023.
