Fuel Oil Price Today as on 27th December, 2024.
Fuel oil markets in Asia at SG trading window largely thin on Tuesday ahead of Christmas and New year holiday mood. Both the fuel oil grades spot differentials pegged sligthly lower during Tuesday session.
VLSFO (very low sulfur fuel oil) spot markets softened with front month backwardation narrowed. HSFO (High Sulphur Fuel oil) 380 cSt spot markets were flat with narrow front month backwardation structure.
Hi-5 Fuel oil spread is the premium of VLSFO over 380 cSt HSFO. Hi-five fuel oil spread held narrow at $93 per Mt as VLSFO benchmarks have shows little recovery due to ample supplied market.
Turning to other markets, crude markets moving down ahead of year end holiday season. FO prices may go up in India while LDO prices will be revised as on 1st jan 2024.
