Furnace oil (FO) and Light Diesel Oil (LDO) prices in Visakhapatnam decreased on 1st June, 2024. FO prices dropped by Rs. 102.21 per kiloliter (KL) or 0.18% to Rs. 54,939.33 per KL from Visakhapatnam depo. Furnace oil (FO) prices revised down by Rs. 100 per metric ton (MT), or 0.17% to Rs. 57,260 per MT from Visakhapatnam depo.
Light diesel oil (LDO) prices down by Rs. 1320 per KL or 2.04% drop to Rs. 63,360 per KL from Visakhapatnam depo. Low-sulphur heavy stock (LSHS) prices dipped by Rs. 100 per metric ton, or 0.16%, to Rs. 59,070 per metric ton. However, the price of superior kerosene oil (SKO) remained unchanged at Rs. 93,400 per kiloliter.
FO and LDO price are decreased narrowly, high oil prices adversely affect industries, as these fuels are essential for generating electricity, heating, and other industrial processes.
