Brent oil Jan futures prices are moving at $72.47 a barrel on London based ICE Futures Europe exchange. U.S crude oil futures for Jan delivery opened unchanged at $68.75 a barrel on NYMEX on Friday morning during Asian hours. Both the benchmarks closed 0.5 pct last night with thin trade due to U.S thanks giving holiday. Brent premium over WTI widened to $4.18 a barrel during the session.
Crude oil benchmark futures price index curves moving flat today after moving up yesterday. Ceasefire violations between Israel and Hezbollah and Prospectus of producers group unwinding cuts are the factors singing positive tone for crude markets. Surprise build in U.S gasoline stocks and lackluster demand are the headwinds prevailed. crude markets are set to close the week in losses. Technically, Speculators seems to be in wait and watch mood. Rig numbers data awaited later today. Brent Jan contract set to expire this week. Market needs strong clues.
