Crude Oil Flat Price Trends Today
Crude oil Brent futures prices for May delivery are moving up at $72.64 a barrel while WTI Futures prices for May delivery going up at $69.27 a barrel on Wednesday morning hours. Both the world benchmarks closed flat last night.
Spreads
Brent WTI spread is the difference in Brent crude oil spot price and WTI crude oil spot price. Brent spread over WTI widened to $4.02 a barrel during the session.
Crude Oil Price Fundamental Analysis
U.S tightening supplies from Venezuela and positive weekly numbers are the prevailing supportive factors to oil prices. Markets moved up after Trump signed executive order to impose 25% tariffs against countries importing oil and gas from Venezuela.
Crude Inventory Data Analysis
API estimated that U.S crude numbers fell by 4.6 Mb in the week ending March 21st. EIA confirmations are due later today. consensus is on 1Mb draw in crude stocks.
Crude Oil Technical Analysis
Speculators widened their net length in brent while reduced in WTI. Long only positions increased in both brent and WTI while short positions were squared in brent where short betting widened in WTI.
