Crude oil brent futures for Nov delivery rose $1.25 or 1.696 pct to $74.94 a barrel on London based ICE Futures Europe exchange. WTI oil Oct futures prices went up 49 cents or 0.69 pct to $71.49 a barrel on NYMEX today at the time of reporting. Both the benchmarks closed down on Friday. crude markets logged in weekly gains last week.
The world crude oil price index curves are moving up today during Asian hours amid positive sentiment buoyed up by simmering Middle East tensions. Cut in Fed interest rate also compounding existing bullish mood in the market. Rise in demand is in air as of now.
