DIESEL PETROL PRICES TREND IN INDIA
In India, Diesel and petrol prices are changed daily in line with a rise and fall of global oil prices. Following the daily price revision of auto fuels in India, Petrol retail prices remained unchanged while Diesel oil retail prices are increased by 48 paise or 0.6% from yesterday's revision today across the country for the eighteenth straight day in a row. For the first time in the history, Diesel prices surpassed petrol prices in the national capital of India due to increased VAT on diesel by the state government. During the last 18 days, Petrol prices are hiked by Rs.8.5 or 11.3% and Diesel prices are ballooned up by Rs.10.49 or 14.13% that is weighing on the common man budget.
In Hyderabad, Petrol is being sold at Rs.82.79 and Diesel at Rs.78.06 a liter today. In Delhi, Petrol is priced at Rs.79.76 and diesel at Rs.79.88 per liter. In Kolkata, Petrol is now selling at Rs.81.45 and diesel at Rs.75.06 a liter. In Mumbai, Petrol and diesel are costing Rs.86.54 and Rs.78.22 respectively. Petrol pumps are charging Rs.83.04 and Rs.77.17 per liter respectively in Chennai.
BIODIESEL PRICE TRENDS
Biodiesel prices are bench marked with diesel prices in Indian retail market. The retail prices of bio diesel remain unchanged today and trended to follow the changes in diesel prices in India. Bio diesel B100 and B50 graded fuel prices are sold at competitive prices in Hyderabad retail market. The Crude palm oil Sep futures are trading down 30 ringgits to 2436 ringgits while FKLI June futures edged down 5 ringgits to 1499 ringgits on Bursa Malaysia.
