DIESEL PETROL PRICES TREND IN INDIA
In India, Diesel and petrol prices are changed daily in line with a rise and fall of global oil prices. Following the daily price revision of auto fuels in India, Diesel oil and petrol prices are continued to rise for the 17th day after government eased lockdown across the country. Petrol prices are increased by 20 paise or 0.3% and diesel prices are gone up 55 paise or 0.7% from yesterday's revision. During the last two weeks, Petrol prices registered a spike of Rs.8.5 with 11.3% up while diesel prices logged in Rs.10.01 or 13.53% upside revision.
In Hyderabad, Petrol is being sold at Rs.82.79 and Diesel at Rs.77.60 a liter today. In Delhi, Petrol is priced at Rs.79.76 and diesel at Rs.79.40 per liter. In Kolkata, Petrol is now selling at Rs.81.45 and diesel at Rs.74.63 a liter. In Mumbai, Petrol and diesel are costing Rs.86.54 and Rs.77.76 respectively. Petrol pumps are charging Rs.83.04 and Rs.76.77 per liter respectively in Chennai. As per the latest data from oil minister, demand in the first half of June was at 80-85% of normal level. India's May crude oil imports post biggest decline since at least 2005.
BIODIESEL PRICE TRENDS
Biodiesel prices are bench marked with diesel prices in Indian retail market. The retail prices of bio diesel remain unchanged today and trended to follow the changes in diesel prices in India. Bio diesel B100 and B50 graded fuel prices are sold at competitive prices in Hyderabad retail market. Crude palm oil futures (FCPO) Sep futures are trading 2 ringgits down at 2442 ringgits while FKLI June futures are trading lower at 1504.5 ringgits.
