DIESEL PETROL PRICES TREND IN INDIA

In India, Diesel and petrol prices are changed daily in line with a rise and fall of global oil prices. Following the daily price revision of auto fuels in India, Petrol retail prices remained unchanged today while Diesel retail prices are revised up across India. Petrol prices remained high in most of the metro cities except in Delhi. Oil marketing companies unchanged the Petrol retail prices since June 30th for last 16 days. Petrol prices are hiked by Rs.9.17 or 12.1% and Diesel prices are increased by Rs.11.79 or 15.75% for last two months in India after lock down norms are eased. 

In Hyderabad, Petrol is being sold at Rs.83.49 and Diesel at Rs.79.28 a liter today. In Delhi, Petrol is priced at Rs.80.43 and diesel at Rs.81.18 per liter. In Kolkata, Petrol is now selling at Rs.82.10 and diesel at Rs.76.33 a liter. In Mumbai, Petrol and diesel  are costing Rs.87.19 and Rs.79.40 respectively. Petrol pumps are charging Rs.83.63 and Rs.78.22 per liter respectively in Chennai. Despite surging covid cases, Oil demand in India rapidly recovering according to official monthly data released. 

BIODIESEL PRICE TRENDS

Biodiesel prices are bench marked with diesel prices in Indian retail market. The retail prices of bio diesel remain unchanged today and trended to follow the changes in diesel prices in India.   Bio diesel B100 and B50 graded fuel prices are sold at competitive prices in Hyderabad retail market. Crude palm oil futures (FCPO) for Sep delivery rose 33 ringgits to 2535 ringgits while FKLI futures to be delivered in July edged up 3.5 ringgits to 1600 ringgits on Bursa Malaysia.
