FO LDO Price as on 16th September 2024.
As of September 16, 2024, the retail prices for Furnace Oil (FO) and Light Diesel Oil (LDO) in India decreased. At the Visakha depot, the price of Furnace Oil dropped by Rs. 2472.21 per kiloliter (KL), a 4.83% reduction, bringing the new price to Rs. 48,689.33 per KL. The price per metric ton (MT) of Furnace Oil also decreased by Rs. 2570 (4.82%), making it Rs. 50,750 per MT. Light Diesel Oil saw a notable drop of Rs. 3190 (5.16%), lowering the price from Rs. 61,840 to Rs. 58,650 per KL. At BPCL’s Mumbai terminal, the price of Low Sulphur Heavy Stock (LSHS) was reduced by Rs. 3050 per MT to Rs. 52,520 per MT. The price drop was driven by lower fuel oil prices in the Asian markets. However, the price of Superior Kerosene Oil (SKO) remained unchanged at Rs. 93,400.
