Bitumen prices in India changed on 16th October 2024.

On October 16, 2024, bitumen prices across all VG grades in India saw a increase, with BPCL, IOCL, HPCL, and MRPL announcing the adjustments. At the Chennai depot, IOCL released updated prices for both bulk and packed bitumen.

For bulk bitumen, the price of VG 10 was increased by Rs. 2240 per metric ton (MT), bringing it up from Rs. 37,512 to Rs. 39,752 per MT. VG 30 saw a Rs. 2240 up, from Rs. 38,312 to Rs. 40,552 per MT. VG 40 experienced a larger increase of Rs. 2560, increasing the price from Rs. 40,092 to Rs. 42,652 per MT.

For packed bitumen, VG 10 increased from Rs. 48,312 to Rs. 50,552 per MT, while VG 30 hiked by Rs. 2240, from Rs. 49,112 to Rs. 51,352 per MT.

These cuts reflect a broader trend of falling bitumen prices in the market.
