Fuel oil prices in Asian markets moved up slightly at Singapore trading hub on Tuesday. HSFO markets under pressure over heavy influx into East Asia this year. Propsectus of little change in demand from Middle East summer demand along with refinery feedstock from china could not lift prices. Market activity for tenders was also quite. Vietnam Nghi Son offered 5000 tons of fuel oil for loading between Aug 6th and Aug 7th. FO LDO PRICES MAY GO DOWN in India on August 1st , 2025.
VLSFO (very low sulphur fuel oil ) logged smaller premiums in recent sessions. HSFO (High Sulphur Fuel oil) spot differentials rangebound in discounts on Tuesday. The Hi-five spread remained wider at $88 per Mt due to weak HSFO.
