Furnace Oil (F.O), Light Diesel Oil (LDO), Superior Kerosene Oil (SKO) – Industrial , Low Sulphur Heavy Stock(LSHS) and Petcoke are the Industrial fuels largely used as a fuel to generate electricity and heat in different sectors. Being market-linked, Furnace Oil (FO) and Low Sulphur Heavy Stock(LSHS) prices revised up while Light Diesel Oil (LDO) prices decreased by Oil marketing companies (OMCs) on a fortnightly basis in India.
As We predicted, In India, Industrial fuel oil prices changed on 16/4/2023 , for the second half of April across all the oil marketing companies. The Furnace oil (F.O) basic prices are revised up by Rs.3200 to Rs.47001.54 or 7.30% per KL, Light Diesel Oil (LDO) prices are revised down by Rs.130 or 0.20% to Rs.63300/- per KL from Visakha depo, Low sulphur heavy stock (LSHS) prices in Mumbai increased by Rs.3530 to Rs.51210/- per MT wef 1/4/2023.
