FO LDO prices in India spiked recently. FO prices increased Rs.1592 per KL or 3.1% to Rs. 52,791.54 per KL at Visakhapatnam. Furnace oil (FO) prices surged by Rs.1660 per Mt or 3.11 pct to Rs. 55,020 per metric ton. LDO prices rose Rs.1990 per KL or 3.02% to Rs. 67,880 per KL in Visakhapatnam. LSHS prices also went up Rs.1700 per Mt or 3.09% to Rs. 56,700 per metric ton in Mumbai. However, the price of SKO remained stable at Rs. 93,400 per kiloliter.
These price hikes could have significant impacts on industries relying on these fuels, affecting electricity generation, heating, and various industrial processes.
