Fuel Oil prices traded up yesterday. 180 cSt and 380 cSt graded fuel oil prices went up by $15 or 3.41 pct while MGO prices settled $13 up during the yesterday's session in Singapore market. On the other hand, The global crude oil prices are soaring up on the escalation of Middle East tensions.
Turning to IMO-2020 news, The UAE based terminal operator is to build a new refinery having a 250,000 bpd capacity in Fujairah to produce IMO 2020-compliant fuel. The IMO-Norway Green Voyage – 2050 project will initiate and promote global efforts to demonstrate and to test technical solutions for reducing GHG emissions from shipping. M/s Alfa Laval said that it has inaugurated its news scrubber training facility in Shanghai, China which will support both the global efforts and the preparation of commissioning engineers in Northeast Asia.
