VLSFO HSFO updates by Srinivas Chowdary Sunkara as on 13th June, 2023.
The VLSFO ( Very Low Sulphur Fuel Oil) prices rebounded at Singapore window in South Asian market while HSFO cash differentials flipped into discounts from premium with softening spot offers. The HSFO markets largely weigh on by dip in uptake from South Asia as imports from the region dropped. HSFO cash differentials slipped to a discount of $3 a tonne to Singapore quotes while VLSFO cash differential premiums climbed to a premium of $5.5 a tonne. Furnace oil retail selling prices are very likely revised down in India.
