PETROL DIESEL PRICE TREND IN INDIA TODAY
In India, Petrol and Diesel prices are changed daily in line with global crude benchmark price changes. Oil marketing companies started revising the petrol diesel prices on daily basis since June, 2017. In India, Both the petrol and diesel retail prices are unchanged today across India, Continuing a 60 days freeze daily price revision despite the slump in global crude oil prices. some of the state governments opted to increase VAT on auto fuels to cater the financial needs during the lockdown period. Central government also increased excise duty on petrol by a record Rs.10 per ltr and on diesel by Rs.13 a liter. However, consumers may need not worry about the excise duty hike since the oil marketing companies are absorbing the entire hike  as per the officials. 

Today, Petrol and diesel are sold at the rate of Rs.71.26 and Rs.69.39 per liter in the national capital, Delhi. In Kolkata, Petrol is being sold at Rs.73.3 a liter while diesel is being priced at Rs.65.62 per liter. In the financial capital of India, Mumbai, Petrol is priced at Rs.76.31 and diesel is offered at Rs.66.21 a liter. Chennai petrol and diesel prices are unchanged at Rs.75.54 and Rs.68.33 a liter respectively. Petrol in Hyderabad is sold at Rs.73.97 and diesel price in Hyderabad is at Rs.67.82 per liter respectively. 
BIODIESEL PRICE TREND

Biodiesel prices are benchmarked with diesel prices in Indian retail market. The retail prices of biodiesel remained unchanged today and trended to follow the changes in diesel prices in India. The Crude palm oil futures (FCPO) for July delivery was traded 49 ringgits up at 2079 ringgits yesterday on while FKLI futures for May delivery ticked 10.5 ringgits up at 1397 ringgits on Bursa Malaysia derivatives.
