Brent oil futures prices for Jan delivery rose 60 cents or 0.8 oct to $73.41 a barrel on London based ICE Futures Europe Exchange while U.S Crude oil futures prices moving 66 cents or .96 pct to $69.41 a barrel on NYMEX on Thursday morning hours. Both the benchmarks closed down on Wednesday.

U.S Crude inventories rose more than expected. Gasoline stocks went up while distillates were drawn last week. Improving demand outlook from China factor is lending support to oil complex. Speculations may not opt sell off during the week. Rig numbers and institutional numbers due on Friday.
