Furnace Oil (F.O), Light Diesel Oil (LDO), Superior Kerosene Oil (SKO) - Industrial , Low Sulphur Heavy Stock(LSHS) and Petcoke - Industrial are the fuels largely used as a fuel to generate electricity and heat in different sectors. Being market-linked, Furnace Oil (FO), Light Diesel Oil (LDO) Superior Kerosene Oil (SKO), Low Sulphur Heavy Stock(LSHS) and Petcoke prices are changed by Oil marketing companies (OMCs) on a fortnightly basis in India.
As We predicted, In India, Industrial fuel oil prices are revised down wef 16/03/2020 , for the second half of March across all the oil marketing company depos. The Furnace oil (F.O) basic prices are revised down by Rs.3590 per KL or 11.22% to Rs.28379.82 per KL, Light Diesel Oil (LDO) prices are reduced by Rs.4470 per KL or 11.3% at Rs.35080/- per KL from Visakha depo, Superior Kerosene Oil (SKO-Industrial) prices are changed marginally on downside with Rs.1690 per KL to Rs.53543.85 per KL from Visakha depo. Low sulphur heavy stock (LSHS) prices are decreased by Rs.3740 or 10.71% and Petcoke prices are increased by Rs.480 at Rs.7350 wef 16/3/2020.
