Furnace Oil (F.O), Light Diesel Oil (LDO), Superior Kerosene Oil (SKO) - Industrial , Low Sulphur Heavy Stock(LSHS) and Petcoke are the Industrial fuels largely used as a fuel to generate electricity and heat in different sectors. Being market-linked, Furnace Oil (FO) and Low Sulphur Heavy Stock(LSHS) prices revised up while Light Diesel Oil (LDO) and Petcoke prices decreased by Oil marketing companies (OMCs) on a fortnightly basis in India.

As We predicted, In India, Industrial fuel oil prices changed on 1/5/2023 , for the first half of May across all the oil marketing companies. The  Furnace oil (F.O) basic prices are revised up by Rs.860 to Rs.47861.54 or 1.82% per KL, Light Diesel Oil (LDO) prices are revised down by Rs.880 or 1.39% to Rs.62420/- per KL from Visakha depo, Low sulphur heavy stock (LSHS) prices in Mumbai increased by Rs.400 to Rs.51610/- per MT while Petcoke prices decreased by Rs.14620 wef 1/5/2023.
