In India, Petrol and diesel prices are dropped sharply for last one month. Today, Petrol prices are decreased by 7 paise or 0.1 pct from yesterday while diesel prices are remained unchanged. Petrol is sold at Rs.69.79 per ltr where as Diesel is prices at Rs.63.83 a ltr in the capital city of India.
Both the motor fuel prices are sagged down by around 5 percent during the month of Dec. Gasoline prices are shrank by Rs.3.08 or 4.3 pct and Diesel prices are plunged by Rs.3.89 per ltr with 5.9 pct drop since the beginning of the month. In the International market, Brent lost $9.19 with 9.02 pct while WTI is down by $16.03 with 18.44 pct since the beginning of the month due to fears of swelling inventories, rumblings for equity crash along side of the expected dampening of demand across the market. Recovery of rupee/$ also supported domestic motor fuel oil prices. Consensus is on further fall in fuel oil prices in Indian market. Have a good day.
