Burning the pockets

Petrol and Diesel prices are continuing to burn the pockets of the consumers in India.  Both the motor fuel oil prices are on upside for the 16th day in a row after an increase of above 1% during this month. Today, Petrol and diesel prices are revised up by 15 paise and 16 paise respectively to sell Petrol at Rs.71.57 and diesel at Rs.66.8 per litre in the national capital of India. 

As per the latest publication, The Depo price of petrol and diesel stood at Rs.34.04 and Rs.39.81 per ltr for which RSP is built up at Rs.70.6 and Rs.72.63 a ltr respectively. It is worth mentioning that the crude oil prices in the global markets are surged up by 6-8 percent in February. Consumers are worried about the cascading affect of rising fuel prices which does not just end with blood bath at the petrol station, It has an impact on dinner plate as well. Good day.
