QUENCHING OIL ADDITIVE
OCN 5049 Q has been formulated to give
excellent quenching characteristics to cover a broad range of heat transfer of
heat transfer applications. The product should be blended with highly refined
base stocks to achieve better results.
Performance:
OCN 5049Q when formulated with proper base stocks gives excellent quench time
properities It is non toxic and non corrosive.
Dosage:1.25-
1.50% w/w in proper viscosity and typeof base oils.

Features:
Ø It contains special type of dispersants, which
helps in reducing the carbon residue and viscosity rise by almost 250 %,
whichin turn protects oil degradation.
Ø The
deposit formations are reduced to extreme extent due to better detergency.
Ø Compatible
with all conventional available quenching oils.
Ø The
thermal & oxidation stability of the formulated oils with OCN 5049Q is 3
times superior than conventional available quenching oils.
Ø It
has excellent results in ASTM D 130 test comparative to other packages in
prolonged exposures to heat. It passes Cincinati Milacron thermal stability
test.
Ø Longer
drains periods and constant saving in fuel due to better heat transfer and
better dispersancy.
Better quenching times can be achieved with
various dosage due to high polar components present in the package.
The following properties are achieved by
formulating quenching fluids with 1.50% w/w of OCN 5049Q in ISO VG 32 grade
base oils.
