Furnace Oil (F.O), Light Diesel Oil (LDO), Superior Kerosene Oil (SKO) – Industrial , Low Sulphur Heavy Stock(LSHS) and Petcoke – Industrial are the fuels largely used as a fuel to generate electricity and heat in different sectors. Being market linked, Furnace Oil (FO), Light Diesel Oil (LDO) Superior Kerosene Oil (SKO), Low Sulphur Heavy Stock(LSHS) and Petcoke prices are changed by Oil marketing companies (OMCs) on a fortnightly basis in India.

As We predicted, In India, Industrial fuel oil prices are reduced wef 01/11/2019 , for the first fortnight of November across all the oil marketing company depos. The  Furnace oil (F.O) basic prices are revised down by Rs.2170 per KL or 7.38% to Rs.27230 per KL, Light Diesel Oil (LDO) prices are decreased by Rs.980 per KL or 2.36% to Rs.40580/- per KL from Visakha depo, Superior Kerosene Oil (SKO-Industrial) prices are slipped by Rs.710 or 1.20% to Rs.58473.85 from Vijayawada depo, Low sulphur heavy stock (LSHS) prices have fallen by Rs.2260 or 7.28% at Rs.28750/- per Mt and Petcoke prices remained unchanged at Rs.6410/- per Mt wef 01/11/2019  after a massive downside revision for last fortnight.
