Furnace Oil (F.O), Light Diesel Oil (LDO), Superior Kerosene Oil (SKO) - Industrial , Low Sulphur Heavy Stock(LSHS) and Petcoke - Industrial are the fuels largely used as a fuel to generate electricity and heat in different sectors. Being market linked, Furnace Oil (FO), Light Diesel Oil (LDO) Superior Kerosene Oil (SKO), Low Sulphur Heavy Stock(LSHS) and Petcoke prices are changed by Oil marketing companies (OMCs) on a fortnightly basis in India.
As We predicted, In India, Industrial fuel oil prices are revised down wef 01/02/2020 , for the first half of February across all the oil marketing company depos. The Furnace oil (F.O) basic prices are revised down by Rs.500 per KL or 1.59% to Rs.30919.82 per KL, Light Diesel Oil (LDO) prices are decreased by Rs.2540 per KL or 5.85% to Rs.40850/- per KL from Visakha depo, Superior Kerosene Oil (SKO-Industrial) prices are changed marginally on downside to Rs.56930 from Vijayawada depo, Low sulphur heavy stock (LSHS) prices are slipped by Rs.520 or 1.57% and Petcoke prices are slightly burdened with Rs.680/- per Mt at Rs.6420 wef 1/2/2020.
