Furnace Oil (F.O), Light Diesel Oil (LDO), Superior Kerosene Oil (SKO) – Industrial , Low Sulphur Heavy Stock(LSHS) and Petcoke are the Industrial fuels largely used as a fuel to generate electricity and heat in different sectors. Being market-linked, Furnace Oil (FO), Light Diesel Oil (LDO) Superior Kerosene Oil (SKO), Low Sulphur Heavy Stock(LSHS) prices are revised up while Petcoke prices kept unchanged by Oil marketing companies (OMCs) on a fortnightly basis in India.

As We predicted, In India, Industrial fuel oil prices revised up on 1/5/2022 , for the first half of May across all the oil marketing companies. The  Furnace oil (F.O) basic prices are revised up by Rs.3260 to Rs.69629.82 or 4.91% per KL, Light Diesel Oil (LDO) prices are revised up by Rs.5350 or 6.65% to Rs.85810/- per KL from Visakha depo, Superior Kerosene Oil (SKO-Industrial) prices are up by Rs.6150 per KL to Rs.112642.85 per KL from VJA depo while Petcoke prices kept unchanged by Rs.21816 wef 1/5/2022.
