Furnace Oil (F.O), Light Diesel Oil (LDO), Superior Kerosene Oil (SKO) - Industrial , Low Sulphur Heavy Stock(LSHS) and Petcoke - Industrial are the fuels largely used as a fuel to generate electricity and heat in different sectors. Being market-linked, Furnace Oil (FO), Light Diesel Oil (LDO) Superior Kerosene Oil (SKO), Low Sulphur Heavy Stock(LSHS) and Petcoke prices are changed by Oil marketing companies (OMCs) on a fortnightly basis in India.
As We predicted, In India, Industrial fuel oil prices were increased as on 1/1/2021 , for the first half of January across all the oil marketing companies. The Furnace oil (F.O) basic prices are increased by Rs.1030 at Rs.32849.82 per KL, Light Diesel Oil (LDO) prices are hiked by Rs.2200 or 6.02% to Rs.38770/- per KL from Visakha depo, Superior Kerosene Oil (SKO-Industrial) prices are marginally up by Rs.358.15 per KL to Rs.67970 per KL from Visakha depo, Low sulphur heavy stock (LSHS) prices are soared by Rs.2200 to Rs.38770/- per KL and Petcoke price are kept unchanged at Rs.8940 wef 1/1/2021.
