Furnace Oil (F.O), Light Diesel Oil (LDO), Superior Kerosene Oil (SKO) - Industrial , Low Sulphur Heavy Stock(LSHS) and Petcoke - Industrial are the fuels largely used as a fuel to generate electricity and heat in different sectors. Being market-linked, Furnace Oil (FO), Light Diesel Oil (LDO) Superior Kerosene Oil (SKO), Low Sulphur Heavy Stock(LSHS) and Petcoke prices are changed by Oil marketing companies (OMCs) on a fortnightly basis in India.
As We predicted, In India, Industrial fuel oil prices are revised up wef 01/07/2020 , for the first half of July across all the oil marketing company depos. The Furnace oil (F.O) basic prices are revised up by Rs.1040 per KL or 3.96% to Rs.27269.82 per KL, Light Diesel Oil (LDO) prices are increased by Rs.2260/- per KL to Rs.32550/- per KL from Visakha depo, Superior Kerosene Oil (SKO-Industrial) prices are changed marginally Rs.2530 on upside to Rs.63310 from Visakha depo, Low sulphur heavy stock (LSHS) prices are increased by Rs.1080 or 3.6% and Petcoke prices are remained unchanged at Rs.5900 wef 1/7/2020.
